I am sad to hear of Larry’s death. I fondly remember Larry as an extremely nice guy, always polite and more mature in high school than his 18 years. He was a great student and was active on many school committees. As I remember him, Larry had a love of music (band) as well as the high school plays. He later received a BA at U of M. He was a field engineer. He was adventurous: he was a state-licensed paramedic, a private pilot and a teacher of scuba diving. He married a school teacher, Marilyn. I fondly remember his father, who spoke highly of his son, while he sipped his coffee at the little Beyer Rexall Drug Store’s soda fountain where I worked. My condolences to his family and close friends.
I think I only saw Larry with a smile on his face. What a nice guy. He gave me my one and only motorcycle ride! If I saw Larry, Bob Wellman wasn't far behind. He is remembered.
