Tonight, May 9th, I spoke to Sam Callan's (it has misspelled in the yearbook and on the memorial page) first wife, with whom he shared a daughter and grandchildren. She told me Sam died of kidney failure in relation to diabetes in September of 2015. When I ran into Sam about five years ago and he could only make out shapes visually back then. He owned a fire supression business for many years, up to his passing. And where he lived off of Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. is a Saline address rather than Chelsea.
I've know Sam more years than I can remember, even before he came to Plymouth schools and hope he's resting well.
