Larry Dekarske was a really nice guy and will be missed. We had looked forward to seeing him at the reunion if he was well enough to make it. Larry was a good friend from my days at Gallimore and this makes those memories come flooding back, which is a good thing. Rest in peace, my friend!
Clark and I had also hoped to see Larry DeKarske at the reunion. I didn't meet him until sophomore year, when we both took World History - spent a lot of time giggling, as I recall. We'll miss you.
I knew Larry from kindergarten at Cherry Hill School on Cherry Hill and Ridge Roads to graduation from High School. I remember bobbing for apples in Larry's basement one Halloween to hearinng "Give me a six! Give me a seven! What do you get? '67!" at every pep rally. The last time I saw him was at one of the school reunions in 2005. I have a photo taken that day that will be a treasured posession. He was one of the really nice guys!
